Build a local service page and FAQ for your bookkeeping firm's website with AI

Short answer

Use this when your website has one generic services page and you want a page for your main town or service area that matches your Business Profile. You get a page outline, draft copy, a short FAQ and notes for your LocalBusiness markup.

These prompts help with marketing copy and Google Business Profile upkeep. They are not legal, tax or professional advice. Check Google's current guidelines, and your professional body's advertising rules if you hold a license, before you publish.

What the source describes

Google Search Central documents LocalBusiness structured data, which can tell Google a business's name, address, hours and other details, and lists required and recommended properties. Google's Business Profile Help says local results are based mainly on relevance, distance and prominence, and suggests keeping business information complete and accurate. Google announced in August 2023 that FAQ rich results would show only for well-known, authoritative government and health sites, so FAQs on a firm's page help readers rather than earning a rich result.

Result or outcome

According to the source, LocalBusiness structured data can tell Google a business's name, address, hours and other details, using required and recommended properties. Local results depend mainly on relevance, distance and prominence, so complete and accurate business information matters. FAQ rich results are limited to well-known government and health sites, so FAQs on a firm's page help readers rather than earning a rich result.

How to run it

  1. Copy your name, address, phone and hours exactly as they appear on your Business Profile.
  2. List the real local details and the questions prospects ask on calls.
  3. Paste them into the prompt and review the draft page, FAQ and schema notes.
  4. Fill every MISSING item or leave it out; never guess coordinates or prices.
  5. Publish the page, add the markup, test it with Google's Rich Results Test, and link the page from your Business Profile website field if it is your main location page.

Try it yourself

Copyable prompt

Act as a website copywriter for [firm name], a bookkeeping firm. Draft one local service page for [town or area] using only the facts below.

Facts:
- Business name, address and phone exactly as on our Google Business Profile: [NAP]
- Hours: [hours]
- Services offered in this area: [list]
- Who we serve here: [list]
- Real local details we can mention (neighborhoods served, local industries we work with, whether we meet in person): [list]
- Questions prospects ask us on calls: [list]

Write:
1. A title tag (under 60 characters) and meta description (140 to 155 characters).
2. One H1, then 400 to 600 words of page copy with H2s for services, who we help, how we work, and how to get started. Plain language, no "best", no guarantees, no tax or legal advice.
3. An FAQ of 4 to 6 questions taken from the call questions, each answered in 2 to 3 sentences. Where an answer depends on someone's tax or legal situation, say so and suggest they ask a tax professional.
4. Schema notes: which LocalBusiness properties to fill (use the AccountingService type), using only the facts above. Mark anything I did not give you as MISSING. Do not suggest FAQPage markup.
5. A checklist confirming the name, address, phone and hours on the page match the Business Profile word for word.

Do not create pages for towns we do not serve, and do not write near-duplicate pages that only swap the town name.

Replace the [bracketed] placeholders. Remove client names, account numbers, and personal data before pasting into any AI tool.

Works in any chat assistant. Have whoever manages the site add the markup and test it with Google's Rich Results Test.

Sample output (illustrative, fictional firm)
Title tag: Bookkeeping Services in [Town] | Maple Street Bookkeeping
Meta description: Monthly bookkeeping, payroll and QuickBooks setup for small businesses in [Town], with a fixed monthly package and one named point of contact. (142)

H1: Bookkeeping services for small businesses in [Town]

FAQ
Q: Do you meet clients in person in [Town]?
A: Yes. You can meet us at our office on [street], or we can work fully online if that suits you better.
Q: Can you help with taxes?
A: We keep your books ready for your tax preparer, but we do not prepare returns. For questions about your own tax situation, please ask a tax professional.

Schema notes (AccountingService)
name: Maple Street Bookkeeping | address: [from NAP] | telephone: [from NAP] | openingHoursSpecification: [from hours] | url: [page URL] | geo: MISSING | priceRange: MISSING (optional)

NAP check: page footer and contact block match the Business Profile exactly: [ ] name [ ] address [ ] phone [ ] hours

What to review

Check the name, address, phone and hours match the profile exactly, remove any answer that reads as tax or legal advice, and make sure the page says something specific to that area. Do not expect FAQ rich results; Google limited them to government and health sites in 2023.

Audit your bookkeeping firm's Google Business Profile categories and attributes with AI

Google's Business Profile Help says to pick a primary category that best describes the business, choosing the most specific option on its list, and notes you cannot create your own category. You can add up to 9 more categories, but Google says not to use categories as keywords or to describe features. Changing a category may trigger re-verification. Attributes describe the business, some factual ones can be edited, and subjective ones come from Google users.

Turn the public Google reviews of 3 nearby bookkeeping firms into service and messaging ideas with AI

Google's Business Profile Help says reviews are useful to potential customers when they are honest and objective, and that a mix of positive and negative reviews is more trustworthy. It says to value all reviews, reply to them, and remind customers to leave reviews, and that business owners should not offer incentives. Google's Maps content policy prohibits fake engagement, which rules out writing or buying reviews for your own or a competitor's profile.

Plan 4 weeks of Google Business Profile posts for a bookkeeping firm with AI

Google's Business Profile Help describes three post types: Updates, Offers (title, dates and time required, with a View Offer button) and Events (title, start and end dates). Posts can be scheduled or set to repeat, and Google reviews each post against its content policy before it goes live. Google says posts with a phone number in the text may be rejected, and that posts older than 6 months are archived unless a date range is set.
