Turn the public Google reviews of 3 nearby bookkeeping firms into service and messaging ideas with AI
Short answer
Use this before you rewrite your profile description, plan posts or add a service. Reading what clients praise and complain about at the three nearest firms shows what local buyers care about, which words they use, and where your firm can say something different and true.
These prompts help with marketing copy and Google Business Profile upkeep. They are not legal, tax or professional advice. Check Google's current guidelines, and your professional body's advertising rules if you hold a license, before you publish.
What the source describes
Google's Business Profile Help says reviews are useful to potential customers when they are honest and objective, and that a mix of positive and negative reviews is more trustworthy. It says to value all reviews, reply to them, and remind customers to leave reviews, and that business owners should not offer incentives. Google's Maps content policy prohibits fake engagement, which rules out writing or buying reviews for your own or a competitor's profile.
Result or outcome
According to the source, honest and objective reviews help potential customers, a mix of positive and negative reviews is more trustworthy, and business owners should reply and may remind customers to leave reviews but should not offer incentives. Copyable prompt
Act as a local market researcher for a bookkeeping firm. Below are public Google reviews of three nearby bookkeeping or accounting firms. I removed reviewer names. Use only these reviews. Do not invent quotes, numbers or facts about the firms. Our firm: [what we offer, who we serve, what we do not offer] Firm A reviews: [paste reviews, one per line, with star rating] Firm B reviews: [paste] Firm C reviews: [paste] Do this: 1. Tag every review as PRAISE, COMPLAINT or REQUEST (something the reviewer wished the firm offered). Some reviews get more than one tag. 2. Group the tags into themes, for example responsiveness, accuracy, price clarity, onboarding, software help, year-end deadlines. Show how many reviews mention each theme per firm. 3. For each theme, quote the exact short phrase buyers used (5 to 12 words). These are candidate words for our own description, services and posts. 4. List service gaps: requests or complaints that our firm can honestly answer, based on what I said we offer. Skip anything we do not offer. 5. Write 3 profile description angles and 3 post ideas based on the gaps. Each must be a claim we can back up. No comparisons that name the other firms, and no "best" or "number one" claims. Output as tables, then the angles and post ideas.
Replace the [bracketed] placeholders. Remove client names, account numbers, and personal data before pasting into any AI tool.
Copy reviews by hand from Google Maps. Leave out reviewer names, and do not paste anything that is not public.

Description angles 1. Fixed monthly bookkeeping packages with the price agreed before work starts. 2. Help moving from spreadsheets to QuickBooks for small businesses in [town]. 3. A named point of contact and a stated reply time. Post ideas 1. "What is included in a monthly bookkeeping package" update post. 2. A checklist post for businesses switching to QuickBooks. 3. A year-end document checklist post for small business clients.
What to review
Confirm each quote appears in the pasted reviews; delete any the assistant made up. Do not name competitors in your own copy, and never post, buy or swap reviews. Google's content policy prohibits fake engagement.

These review reply templates follow Google's Business Profile Help: a verified business can reply to reviews from its profile. Google checks each reply against its content policies before posting, which usually takes up to 10 minutes but can take up to 30 days. An approved reply is public, shows as the business rather than a personal name, and the reviewer is notified and can still change the review.

Write your bookkeeping firm's Google Business Profile description and services within Google's limits
Google's Business Profile Help says the description should cover what you offer, what makes you special and how long you have been in business, must stay within 750 characters, and must not include URLs or HTML. Google's guidelines add that descriptions should not focus on promotions, prices or sales, and should not show links or gimmicky characters. Google also offers AI-written descriptions in some regions and says to review them for accuracy.

Audit your bookkeeping firm's Google Business Profile categories and attributes with AI
Google's Business Profile Help says to pick a primary category that best describes the business, choosing the most specific option on its list, and notes you cannot create your own category. You can add up to 9 more categories, but Google says not to use categories as keywords or to describe features. Changing a category may trigger re-verification. Attributes describe the business, some factual ones can be edited, and subjective ones come from Google users.

Plan 4 weeks of Google Business Profile posts for a bookkeeping firm with AI
Google's Business Profile Help describes three post types: Updates, Offers (title, dates and time required, with a View Offer button) and Events (title, start and end dates). Posts can be scheduled or set to repeat, and Google reviews each post against its content policy before it goes live. Google says posts with a phone number in the text may be rejected, and that posts older than 6 months are archived unless a date range is set.
