Bookkeeping Prompts is a free directory of AI workflows and copy-paste prompts for small-business bookkeeping. It is written for bookkeepers, accountants, owners who keep their own books, and nonprofit and church treasurers.
How workflows are chosen
Every workflow summarizes a public source, such as vendor documentation, an accounting publication or a practitioner write-up, and links to it. We only describe what the source says, and we do not add results or numbers the source does not state. Each prompt is written for this site. Guides cite a numbered source for every factual claim.
How entries are reviewed
New workflows start as drafts. They are published only after a person has checked the source link and the summary. Anyone can suggest a workflow or a correction, and nothing is published automatically.
How the site is funded
The site is supported by sponsorships, which are always labeled, and by our sister store, ReconciledBooksCo, which sells bookkeeping templates. Both sites are run by the same team. Read the disclosure for details.
